It features a single round button diamond segment sized 25×13 mm. The round button design delivers steady cutting pressure, less chatter, and creates a more uniform scratch pattern on concrete slabs.
We stock 4 different metal bonds to match your concrete hardness:
Very Soft Bond: Fast diamond release, for extremely hard concrete, dense terrazzo, prevents glazing
Soft Bond: Best for hard concrete and terrazzo
Medium Bond: General-purpose, reliable for normal concrete, most popular on mixed job sites
Hard Bond: Slow wear rate, built for soft, porous, highly abrasive concrete
Available grits: 6#, 16#, 30# through 300#. Start at low grit for heavy coating removal and surface leveling, then step up grits for honing before concrete polishing.
These grinding shoes can run wet or dry. Always follow local dust control regulations when grinding dry.
Pro tip for floor crews:
Round button segments hold up well on uneven floors. If you grind a lot of extra hard concrete, pick the Very Soft bond to stop the diamonds from glazing over.
